NTT Global Data Centers Americas Hires New Vice President of Construction and Design to Expand Campus Footprints

Brittany Miller brings extensive expertise from leading construction teams  
and managing global portfolios at Microsoft and Intel

SACRAMENTO, Calif., USA – October 28, 2020 – NTT Ltd.’s Global Data Center Americas division has hired Brittany Miller as its new Vice President of Construction and Design. Ms. Miller will help lead NTT’s expansion of its worldwide colocation data center platform with new facilities across key markets throughout the Americas. NTT Ltd., one of the world’s largest data center providers, operates a platform with over 500,000 sqm of colocation space across 160 data centers located in more than 20 countries and regions.

She is adept at establishing effective strategies, developing talent, and driving operational efficiency.” 

Prior to joining NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Ms. Miller spent four years leading teams in Microsoft’s Cloud Operations and Innovation business unit, helping to meet the unique challenges of a rapidly growing global business. She led a team that was responsible for global program management and governance along with AMER lease execution. Ms. Miller was also responsible for supply chain development, sourcing, and execution for AMER infrastructure projects during her time at Microsoft. 

Previously, Ms. Miller held multiple positions at Intel over her 10-year tenure there. She led a global team of supply chain professionals from setting construction delivery strategy through the execution of large-scale construction projects. Ms. Miller led construction program setup, led global teams, and held positions as a project manager for highly complex projects.  

At NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Ms. Miller will lead new data center construction projects which feature global industry standards, multi-story buildings, and massive capacity. NTT leverages modular construction techniques and robust supply chain management to produce large-scale data centers for hyperscale cloud companies and Fortune 1000 enterprises. 

Ms. Miller joins NTT Global Data Centers Americas as the company is actively developing new data center campuses in Silicon Valley, Calif.; Chicago, Illinois; Hillsboro, Oregon; and Phoenix, Arizona. In addition, NTT’s Americas portfolio includes established campuses in Ashburn, Virginia; Dallas, Texas; and Sacramento, Calif.
