Between 1981 and 2007, Roberson held various leadership positions with Hitachi Data Systems Corporation, including president and chief executive officer from 2006 to 2007, president and chief operating officer from 2002 to 2006, and chief operating officer from 2000 to 2002. He was instrumental in evolving the company into a leading global storage solutions company by building a global channel and securing business partnerships.

Roberson holds a bachelor’s of arts degree in social ecology from the University of California, Irvine and a juris doctorate from Golden Gate University. He is currently serving on the boards of International Game Technology, Quantum Corporation and TransLattice, Inc.
