When you visit the Site, we may also collect certain information by automated means, such as cookies.  A “cookie” is a text file that websites send to a visitor’s computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser.  We may also use third-party website analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that collect information about user traffic on the Site.  The information we may collect by automated means may include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • dates, times and duration of visits to the Site (including whether you are a repeat or first time visitor); and
  • information on actions taken on the Site (such as page views and site navigation patterns)

Most browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new cookies, how to be notified when you receive a new cookie, and how to disable existing cookies.  The “Help” function within your browser should tell you how to do this.  Alternatively, you can visit www.allaboutcookies.org, which gives comprehensive information on how to disable cookies on a wide variety of desktop browsers.  If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this Site may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

By sending us an electronic mail (e-mail) message, you may be sending us personally identifiable information.  In these cases, we may retain the information as long as necessary to respond to your request or otherwise resolve the subject matter of your e-mail.  Please be aware that email is not necessarily secure from interception or misdirection.  For your own protection you may wish to communicate sensitive information using a method other than email.
